Flexible Stone
Stone that follows the design.
For millennia, the weight and rigidity of stone set the limits of what architects could draw. FLEX lifts those limits. A flexible stone built on a modified clay (MCM) composite, each panel carries the grain, depth and tonal life of quarried stone in a veneer 2 to 9 mm thin.
It bends.
FLEX wraps columns, arches and curved walls, carrying one texture across a radius without cut joints.
It runs large.
Panels reach 3.1 metres in length, so a façade or feature wall reads as continuous stone with far fewer joints.
It weighs little.
A panel can be carried and placed by hand, and adds little load to the wall behind it.
